Short and sweet this post will be!
Today is
National Strawberry Cream Pie Day
and
National Drink a Beer Day
I made a pie!
Directions
1. Put the strawberry and sugar in a food processor, pulse until chopped.
2. Ad the cream cheese and continue to blend.
3. Place strawberry mixture in a bowl and add the package of dry pudding to the mixture and stir until well mixed, about 3 minutes or so...
4. Add 2 cups of whip cream to mixture and fold in lightly.
5. Spoon mix into the pie crust and place in the fridge.
Leave it in there until ready to serve.
I'd say prepare this dish at the earliest 1 hour from serve time,
but it would be best served at about 2 hours or more later.
It's light, easy, and delicious!
*If you don't have a food processor, finely chopped the strawberries and combine the ingredients in a bowl, and begin on step 3 after all of the ingredients (minus the cool whip) are in the bowl.
I'm not much of a drinker,
but I did have a few sips of The Duke's beer today
in honor of the drink beer holiday.
Tomorrow is:
National Coffee Day
and I can't wait to have a cup of the good stuff!
Are you joining me?
