Today was
National Ice Cream Cone Day
and we celebrated accordingly.
The Duke with an Ice Cream Cone |
We each had an ice cream cone,
the kids had chocolate,
The Duke and I vanilla,
and delicious they were.
We tried Alden's Organic Ice Cream for the first time
and I'm pretty sure we'll be buying it for as long as they sell it.
YUM!
Today was also American Business Women's Day
which I think is completely cool
since I own a business
and I'll be posting more about my business
in upcoming posts.
Shameless plugs here and there never hurt nobody. Haha!
So today business women
we celebrate you!
Keep on rocking hard
and doing big things.
Shine bright like a diamond!
Alright,
Tomorrow's Holiday
is
National Great American Pot Pie Day
I'm excited for this,
I can't wait to share my adventure in the
kitchen with you!
Goodnight Friends!
I've never tried organic ice cream but I have found other organic products to be delicious. Thanks for letting me know about this holiday.
ReplyDeleteThank you for making me aware of this important holiday. I'm off to Baskin Robbins to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteI have ice cream just about every day, but I rarely eat it out of a cone. I always drip it on myself, so I go for a dish.
ReplyDeleteI am looking for more organic products to serve my family. I want to try this ice cream.
ReplyDeleteThis is the most important holiday you've posted about lol. I'll take chocolate peanut butter on a sugar cone!
ReplyDeleteHahaha. Like I need an excuse to eat ice cream! I am with the other mama here who said I am off to Baskin Robbins to test some flavours. First to the gym though. I have a frozen yogurt brand that I love actually here and it's my stand by flavour. I would try organic ice cream though.
ReplyDeleteI try and eat organic as much as possible but never got the organic ice cream. I also had no idea that there was a day for this. We totally missed it but then again we don't need an excuse to pig out on icecream with cones. :)
ReplyDeleteI can not believe that I missed National Ice Cream day - nobody wants to miss that. I will make sure to enjoy National Pot Pie day though, already had it on the menu!
ReplyDeleteOh yum ice cream day what a delicious and cooling sounding day! x
ReplyDeleteYum ice cream now that's something i can celebrate. I like the pot pie celebration as well.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a while since I had ice cream. Good reason to celebrate and enjoy some today!
ReplyDeleteNational Ice Cream Cone Day? Darn, I missed it. Well, I'll just have to celebrate a day late.
ReplyDeleteNational Ice Cream Cone day is my kind of holiday. I'm up for anything that has me enjoying some ice cream!
ReplyDeleteMmmm, I like this day! I have some ice cream cones that I just want to eat alone.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you do for pot pie day! Love ice cream cones!
ReplyDeleteI was hankering for ice cream all day yesterday and all day today! Now I REALLY REALLY want ice cream!
ReplyDeleteTwo great days! I love a good ice cream and ice cream cone. Looking forward to the pot pie.
ReplyDeleteOhhh pot pie day is tomorrow?!?!? YUM! I am all for American Business Women's Day since I own my own business.
ReplyDeleteLove ice cream! I don't care what season it is either. It's always good. Amber N
ReplyDeleteOMG how did I miss this holiday. I have never tried organic ice cream before, but if it has the words ice and cream in it I am all for it.
ReplyDeleteMy girls love ice cream so it's a no brainer that we will celebrate all week :)
ReplyDeleteEveryday is a good day for ice cream. The other night we we had some ice cream in the middle of the night.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea it was National Cone Day. I've never had organic ice cream. I would love to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea! We LOOOOVE us some ice cream. In a cone of course!
ReplyDeleteCould there be a better day than national ice cream cone day? Answer: NO!
ReplyDeleteI'm always a day late, ha! I missed ice cream day too. I'm looking at today's post today (and NOT tomorrow). ;)
ReplyDeleteHow did I miss National Ice Cream Cone day! I will have to make sure that I don't miss it next year. Mmmm, pot pie. I haven't had that in a long while. Perfect comfort food.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to celebrate it anyway! We love to eat vegan ice cream for special occasions. I am particular when it comes to this because I think that ice cream is "too cold" and I have to cook a warm dessert to balance it off :)
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind celebrating National Ice Cream Cone Day everyday! Especially with a triple scoop of frozen deliciousness inside! ;-)
ReplyDeleteMy kids love ice cream! They would think it was fabulous to celebrate it EVERYday! lol
